GLASSBORO, NJ -- #18 Rowan was named the favorite in the 2026 New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Profs, who collected five of the 10 first-place votes, sit ahead of second-place Montclair State. The Red Hawks had the other five first-place votes in the poll. TCNJ was third followed by the dark horse Stockton in fourth. Kean was in fifth, Rutgers-Camden in sixth, and NJAC-newcomer New Paltz in seventh. Rutgers-Newark, Ramapo, and William Paterson rounds out the poll respectively.

The 2025 season gets started on Saturday, September 5th at home against Pratt at 5 p.m. NJAC Tournament play begins on October 31st with the championship game on November 7th. The Profs, who are ranked #18 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, went 13-2-5 last season with an appearance in the NJAC Title game and an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
