BLOOMINGTON, IL -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) honored four Rowan student-athletes on its 2025 All-American Teams announced Wednesday evening at the NCAA Division III Softball Championship Banquet.
Rylee Lutz earned a spot on the first team as an at-large pitcher.
Payton MacNair (Shortstop) and
Liz McCaffery (At-large 2B) were voted on to the second team while
Emily McCutcheon (Pitcher) was selected to the third team.

The Profs and fellow NCAA Championship participant Linfield led the way with four selections apiece. The four student-athletes become the 43rd, 44th, 45th, and 46th All-Americans in Rowan Softball history respectively, giving the Profs a top honor for the fourth consecutive year.
Lutz and McCutcheon earn the prestigious honor for the second time while MacNair and McCaffery take home the award for the first time.
All four earned All-NJAC and NFCA All-Region honors to help lead the Profs capture the NJAC Title as well as the NCAA Glassboro Regional and Glassboro Super Regional to punch its ticket back to the NCAA Championship Finals for the third-straight year.
Lutz, who earned a third-team selection in 2023, currently owns a 21-1 record with a 0.86 ERA. The senior has 108 strikeouts in 136.1 innings with 15 complete games and 10 shutouts.
McCutcheon scores her second-straight third team accolade as she too has a 21-1 record with a similar ERA (0.87) along with 15 complete games and 10 shutouts as the junior had 73 strikeouts with only seven walks in 137.2 innings.
MacNair leads the squad with a .441 batting average, adding 49 runs, 16 doubles, 41 RBI's, 19 walks and has a 1.000 fielding percentage at shortstop for the fifth year.
McCaffery's 64 runs, 70 hits, six triples, three home runs, and 26 stolen bases are tops on the team as the senior is batting .414.
#4 Rowan will face #9 Texas Lutheran on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CT) in the team's opener at the NCAA Championship Tournament which is held at Inspiration Field on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan.
