GLASSBORO, NJ -- #4 Rowan celebrated eight student-athletes that were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association 2025 Division III All-Region teams.

First team honors for Region IV icncluded Breanna Bryant, Rylee Lutz, Payton MacNair, Liz McCaffery, Emily McCutcheon, and McKenzie Melvin. Kate Evick and Abigail Pawlowski earned spots on the second team.

This is the fourth-straight year that Melvin was honored on the teams with Lutz, MacNair, and McCaffery earning the honor for the third time. McCutcheon picks up the award for the second year in a row while Evick and Pawlowski get the nod for the first time.

The NFCA announced a total of 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the All-Region teams led by the Profs who placed a Division III-best and maximum eight players on the list, with six on the first team and the other two on the second team.

Bryant owns a .357 average with 45 hits, 32 runs, 10 doubles, 21 walks, and 35 RBI's at third base.

Lutz (0.78) and McCutcheon (0.85) each own ERA's under 1.00 to rank in the top 10 in Division III. The duo has also helped the Profs claim the top team ERA in the nation (0.97) and total shutouts (26). Each pitcher has a 19-1 record while Lutz leads the Profs in strikeouts (96) with McCutcheon yielding only seven walks in 123 innings of work.

MacNair is tied for the team-lead in RBI's (39) and second in OPS (1.131) while batting .464 with 4 5runs, 15 double, three triples. The fifth year has struck out just four times in 138 at-bats so far.

McCaffery is ranked fourth in Division III in runs (61) as the senior currently posts a .417 average and a team-best 65 hits, six triples and 26 stolen bases.

Melvin leads the team in extra base hits (23), doubles (16) while knocking in 32 runs and scoring 49 runs with a .439 average and 1.139 OPS.

Evick is batting .377 with 28 RBI's, 13 runs, 11 doubles, and a home run, as the catcher is enjoying all career bests.

Pawlowski too is in a breakout season at the plate, boasting a team-best 37 walks which puts her fourth in Division III in walks per game (0.82) along with a .365 average, 44 runs scored and 33 RBI's.

#4 Rowan, who won the NJAC Championship for the 13th time, are currently in the regional round of the NCAA Tournament here at home. Action continues tomorrow as the Profs and Tufts resume play from Friday's halted contest due to inclement weather.
