GLASSBORO, NJ – The top-seeded Rowan baseball team continues its quest for the conference title when it hosts fifth-seeded Kean in the semifinals of the 2021 NJAC Championship Tournament. The best-of-three series begins with a doubleheader on Friday, May 14 at
Sandcastle Stadium (545 N. Albany Ave.) in Atlantic City with the first pitch at noon. If a third game is necessary, it will be played at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

** A limited number of spectators for each team will be admitted via a pass list. Spectators are required to wear masks at all times and are asked to maintain social distancing in the stadium. All fans must exit the facility once the game has concluded.
Spectators must be on the pass list to gain admittance.
The Profs, ranked ninth in the nation by D3Baseball.com, defeated Stockton in the three-game quarterfinal series last weekend at home, dropping the first game, 8-6, and then winning the next two, 7-2 and 6-1.
Rowan is 21-4 overall and despite having its 10-game winning streak snapped by Stockton last Friday, but the Profs have won 12 of their last 13 games and are ranked second in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Senior 3B
Ryan McIsaac leads the Profs batting .417 with team-highs of 39 runs and 15 doubles to go along with 20 RBI and five home runs. Junior RF
Ryan Murphy is hitting at a .410 clip and leads the Profs with seven home runs, while he's driven in 28 runs.
On the mound, senior lefthander
Drew Ryback, the NJAC Pitcher of the Year, is 5-1 with 53 strikeouts and leads a strong group of starters. Sophomore
Eli Atiya is 6-1 with 47 strikeouts while senior
Donald Zellman owns a 6-0 record with a 1.43 ERA. Senior reliever
Zach Listro has a career-high five saves and was named the NJAC "Fireman of the Year".
The winner of this series will advance to the NJAC Finals to be played on May 21 and 22 (if necessary) at the site of the higher seed. This weekend's semifinal games were moved to Atlantic City due to Commencement taking place on Rowan's campus.
