BALTIMORE, MD -- Jes Mastriano, Haley Selmer, and Megan Donelson each netted 12 points as Rowan took down Medgar Evers, 86-37, in the first day of the Johns Hopkins WBB Classic.

Leading by two after the first quarter, the Profs (7-4) held the Cougars to just one field goal in the second to put Rowan up 30-17 at halftime.

The Profs shot 22-of-36 (61%) in the second half to open up the lead. Selmer netted eight points in the third quarter alone as part of a 29-10 stretch in the frame.

Moutiatou Djibring totaled 10 points and 10 rebounds while teammate Aaliyah Lyons scored 12 for Medgar Evers (2-9).

Lily Bross added seven points and career highs in assists (6) and steals (5). The Profs took advantage of 38 Cougar turnovers that led to 38 RU points.

Rowan will take on the host Blue Jays tomorrow in a 2 p.m. tip.
