GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan junior Dylan Maria was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week as the designated hitter for his performance in the Profs' five wins last week.

Maria, who was also named the NJAC Player of the Week, batted .476 with seven runs, 10 hits, 16 RBI, three home runs and three doubles in Rowan's 5-0 week, which included four NJAC victories.
 
The junior opened the week going 2-for-4 with three RBI as the Profs rallied for a 14-12 win over Gwynedd Mercy. He then went 4-for-5 with four runs and eight RBI in a 17-2 win over NJCU as he hit his first career grand slam and also had a solo homer.
 
Maria was 3-for-8 with five RBI in the doubleheader sweep of #21 Montclair State, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the 6-0 first-game win and followed that with a two-run home run in the 14-1 nightcap.
 
The Profs' DH is batting .404 and tops the NJAC with 41 RBI and eight home runs this season.
 
Rowan (18-7; 4-2 NJAC), ranked #17 in the D3baseball.com Top 25, is back in action on Thursday when it visits TCNJ for a single game.
