iPITMAN, NJ – The Rowan men's soccer team has been predicted to finish third in the conference as the results of the NJAC Preseason Coaches Poll were announced, with the Profs receiving one-first place vote.
Montclair State earned eight first-place votes in the poll and was followed by Rutgers-Newark, Rowan, Kean, Stockton, Ramapo, Rutgers-Camden, TCNJ, William Paterson and NJCU.
The Profs return a host of key returnees from last year's squad that went 13-4-2 overall, reached the NJAC Championship match and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Luke Yates, who each earned NJAC All-Conference Second-Team honors in 2021. Alfred topped Rowan in scoring last season with 20 points (8 goals, 4 assists) with
Chad Yates tallying 15 points (5 goals, 5 assists), with
Luke Yates adding a goal and assist from his spot in the midfield.
Rowan, which received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Top 25, will open the year on the road, heading to Johns Hopkins on September 1. The Profs will also make a trip to San Antonio, TX, to face Southwestern and 13th-ranked Trinity on September 3-4 before playing the home opener on September 7 versus Haverford.
