Ogden Named All-American by AVCA; Becomes Second Prof in Last Two Seasons to Earn the Honor

Senior receives honorable mention for the NJAC-Champion Profs

LEXINGTON, KY -- Natalie Ogden capped off her final season as a Prof as the senior was named an AVCA All American Honorable Mention by the association on Tuesday.

It is one of many honors Ogden has accumulated this year, as she was named to the NJAC All-Conference First Team as well as an all-region selection by the AVCA.

Ogden led the NJAC in kills (416) and points (468.5) while leading the Profs in kills per set (3.47 kps) and points per set (3.90). She set personal bests this season in kills and hitting percentage, while notching career-highs in kills in a match on two occasions. In 16 matches, Ogden recorded double doubles (10 or more kills and digs each) where the team went 13-3 in those games. The NJAC selected her its conference player of the week five times this season.

The Profs enjoyed one of their finest seasons in 2021, capturing the NJAC Championship for the fourth time in program history and appearing in the NCAA Tournament. Rowan ended the season with a final record of 27-6.
