This feature of "Know Your Profs" is with women's soccer player Bethany Sansone.  Last season, she started every game and contributed with nine points.  The midfielder scored three goals and had three assists.  Sansone received New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic honorable mention and was a Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction.
 
What was the biggest factor that led you to choose Rowan?
Before choosing Rowan, I was in between two schools. After coming on a visit and touring the campus, meeting coach and watching the women's soccer team play I knew Rowan was where I belonged. The atmosphere is great here and everyone is so welcoming, choosing this school felt so right for me.
 
What is your most memorable moment in sports, whether at Rowan or before?
My most memorable sports moment was winning the conference championship my senior year of high school!
 
If you could play any other sport in college, what would it be and why?
If I could play any other college sport, I would play basketball. I've played basketball and soccer my entire life, both sports have always been a huge part of my life and taught me a lot growing up.
 
Who was your biggest role model growing up?
My biggest role model growing up was my older sister. We played soccer together all our lives and she always pushed me so hard to be the best I could be. I wanted to follow her every step, from being the high school soccer captain to playing the sport we loved in college. Not only did she inspire me to be a great soccer player, but to also do well in school, be a kind person and to be a good friend.
 
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to Greece. I think Greece is one of the most beautiful places in the world!
 
What's your choice – Netflix, YouTube, Cable TV? Favorite show?
My favorite choice is Netflix and my all-time favorite TV show is Friends!
 
Who is your favorite professional athlete or team?
My favorite professional athlete is Rose Lavelle on the US Women's National team!

My favorite follow on social media is the Rowan Athletics Instagram page!
 
Which do you prefer – online classes or in person?
I prefer in person classes! I feel that I am able to learn a lot better in person!
 
What is your major at Rowan and what are your career aspirations?
My major at Rowan is Finance and my career aspiration is to be a financial advisor.
 
What's the best thing about being a Prof?
The best thing about being a Prof is all the friendships that I made over the years!
