GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan was selected third in the 2026 New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Profs, who also garnered a first-place vote, sit behind defending NJAC Champion Christopher Newport in second while Salisbury was slotted in the top spot. The Sea Gulls totaled six of the first-place votes.

Montclair State (dark horse selection) was tabbed in fourth, with TCNJ in fifth, Kean in sixth, William Paterson in seventh and Vermont State-Castleton in eighth respectively.

Rowan opens the 2026 season on Friday, September 4th at 6 p.m. against #21 Mary Hardin-Baylor at Wackar Stadium as part of Community/Military & First Responders Appreciation Night.
