GLASSBORO, NJ -- With the start of the season near, Giaini Derameaux has been named to the 2026 D3football.com Preseason All-American Team as the senior lands on the second team.

Derameaux had a breakout season in 2025, earning D3football.com All-American and All-Region honors, as well as a first-team All-NJAC selection.

Playing in all 11 games last year, Derameaux racked up 54 tackles (24 solo), 11.5 tackles for losses, 4.5 sacks, 12 QB hurries, a forced fumble, and a blocked kick.

The Profs went 8-2-1 in 2025 while playing in the postseason for the first time since 2014, capping the year with a 26-20 win at Utica in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl.

The 2026 slate begins on Friday, September 4th as Rowan, which received votes in the 2026 D3football.com Preseason Poll, hosts #21 Mary Hardin Baylor at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium at 6 p.m. as part of the Community Day / Military & First Responders Appreciation game.
