GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan junior Brayden Davis has been chosen as the D3baseball.com Region 4 Player of the Year with head coach Mike Dickson being named the D3baseball.com Region 4 Coach of the Year.

Davis is one of the top hitters in the nation, leading the NCAA in RBI per game (2.05) while ranking second with his school record of 84 runs batted in. The shortstop is batting .411 with 74 hits, 51 runs, 18 doubles, 15 home runs and a slugging percentage of .783.
 
He was also named the ABCA/Rawlings Region IV Player of the Year and earned the NJAC Player of the Year award. Davis is a first-team selection to the All-Region Teams by both the ABCA and D3baseball.com, and an All-Conference First Team honoree.
 
Dickson has guided the Profs to their second consecutive berth in the NCAA Division III World Series after winning the NCAA Glassboro Super Regional last weekend. The 37-5 Profs have been ranked in the top five for most of the season and have secured the number-two seed in this week's championship.
 
The coach, who recorded his 700th overall coaching win this season, led Rowan to the NJAC Championship for the third time. He and his staff earned the top coaching staff award from the conference for the third time in his career.
 
The Profs will open play in the championship in Eastlake,Ohio, on Friday at 5 p.m. against Adrian.
