COLLEGEVILLE, PA -- Day 1 of the AARTFC Regional Championships held at Ursinus is in the books after eight of the 22 events were scored. The men's team leads the pack with 36 points while the women's squad has not yet garnered a team point.

Quick hits from Wednesday:

- Maggie Michelet set her third PR of the season in the 1500 meters (18:34.58)

- The 4x100 relay of Denirah Jones, Amari Pinkett, Mya Walker, and Nyla Jones ran its best time of the season (47.41)

- Nyla Jones advanced to the finals of the 100 meter hurdles as her preliminary time of 14.18 put her third

- Anthony Parker won the long jump with a top mark of 7.33 meters; Damarion Potts (7.18 meters) was second and Chris Ross (7.15 meters) was fourth

- The Profs will send five student-athletes to the 110 meter hurdle finals led by the best preliminary time from Jason Agyemang (13.99); Eric Foster (14.15), Anaias Hughes (14.25), Val Augustin  (14.32), and Michael Lawrence (14.42) will be in Saturday's final

- Evan Corcoran ran his fourth-fastest outdoor time in the 100 meters 10.42 for the top time in the preliminaries

- Corcoran, Foster, Elijah Hendricks, and Joudou Diawara clocked in at 40.27 in the 4x100 relay prelims
