PITMAN,NJ – Rowan's
Brayden Davis was named the 2026 Bill Dioguardi NJAC Player of the Year and
Nick Watson was chosen as the Fireman of the Year as the duo were among a group of seven Profs to be honored in the conference's annual awards. Head coach
Mike Dickson and his assistants earned the Jeff Albies Coaching Staff of the Year award.

Davis was named to the All-Conference First Team along with
Joey Bogart and
Mason Dorsey, with
Ian Murphy earning Second-Team honors. Watson received All-NJAC Honorable Mention along with
Jason Schooley and
Damon Suriani.
Dickson and the staff of
Jordan Friedman,
Chris Rollins,
Gary Herron and
Jason O'Neill guided the fifth-ranked Rowan (29-5) to its first NJAC regular-season title since 2023 with a 15-3 conference record. It marks the third NJAC coaching honor for Dickson.
Davis, a junior, becomes the first Prof to receive the Player of the Year award since Casey Grimes in 2015, while he earns All-Conference honors for the first time. The third baseman batted .370 in conference games, hit six doubles and scored 24 runs, while leading the league with 30 hits, 32 RBI, and five home runs. In all games, Davis is hitting .406 and ranks eighth in the nation with 62 RBI and is second in RBI per game (1.88).
Bogart, a junior second baseman, is named to the All-Conference team for the first time in his career. He hit a team-best .424 this season in NJAC games with 25 hits, 23 runs and 12 RBI. Overall, Bogart is batting .318 and has scored 34 runs.
Dorsey also earns All-Conference honors for the first time as the senior hit .419 in conference contests, contributing five doubles, 20 runs, and an NJAC-best 10 sacrifice bunts. In all games, the outfielder is batting .330 with career-highs in hits (37), runs (37) and RBI (27), while he ranks second in the nation with 13 sacrifice bunts.
Murphy made an impact in his first season with the Profs to earn selection to the All-Conference Second Team. The senior designated hitter batted .357 in league games with 19 RBI, two home runs and four doubles while he scored 18 runs. Overall, Murphy owns a .349 batting average with 37 hits and 52 total bases.
Schooley is an All-Conference performer for the first time in his career as the junior catcher earns Honorable Mention. In conference play he contributed 12 RBI, eight runs and two home runs, and was solid behind the plate, committing just one error. In all games, Schooley has driven in a career-high 25 runs and ranks eighth in the nation in walks and hit by pitch.
Suriani is the only repeat All-Conference performer for the Profs, as he was the Rookie of the Year and a Second-Team selection in 2025. The sophomore hit .348 in NJAC games, scored 18 runs and drove in 19 as the starting left fielder. Suriani is batting .377 overall with 34 runs and 32 TBI, while he's hit seven doubles.
Watson rounds out the Profs' All-Conference performers as he receives Honorable Mention in addition to being named the top relief pitcher, Rowan's first since Zach Listro in 2021. The freshman righthander has compiled a 3-0 record in eight appearances in NJAC games with a 1.38 ERA, 12 strikeouts and one save. Overall, Watson has made 13 appearances and has 20 strikeouts and a 2.79 ERA.
Fifth-ranked and regular-season champion Rowan begins its quest for the NJAC Championship on Thursday when it hosts a semifinal game against Rutgers-Camden at 3 p.m. If the Profs advance, they will host the best-of-three championship series on the weekend, starting with a doubleheader on Saturday.
