Fisher's RBI single in the first followed by a pair of run-scoring base hits from Abigail Pawlowski and Maggie Funston in the third put the home Profs ahead, 3-0.

In the fourth, the Scarlet Raiders plated two runs on a two-out error with runners in scoring position to cut it to a one-run game. The Profs responded in the bottom half, totaling six runs on five hits, two walks, and an error.
