Damon Suriani had three hits and drove in two runs, and
Miles DeVincentis earned his first career victory, as #13 Rowan defeated Trinity College of Florida, 17-5, in eight innings..
Suriani went 2-for-4 with two RBI and
Evan McCoach drove in three runs to lead the Profs. DeVincentis went 3.0 innings and struck out four in his first start at Rowan.

Rowan (6-2) picked up one run in the third when
Joey Bogart singled and eventually scored on a single by Suriani.
The Tigers tied it in the bottom of that inning before Rowan exploded for six runs in the fourth. The Profs had three hits but took advantage of an error and three walks by Trinity. Â Bogart and
Mason Dorsey drew run-scoring walks and
Brayden Davis, Suriani, McCoach and
Kyle Lamanteer each posted an RBI, to give the Profs a 7-1 lead.

Trinity (15-11) added another in the fourth and Rowan answered with four runs in the fifth.
Jason Schooley, McCoach and Bogart had hits to add to the Profs' tally, making it an 11-2 margin.

Rowan added one in the sixth and one in the seventh, while Trinity got three runs back in the bottom of the sixth, to cut the deficit to 12-3.

The Profs added four runs in the eighth, including a two-run homer from
Nick Struble, his first of the year, to end the game early.

Rowan is back in action on Wednesday at the RussMatt Invitational taking on UMass Boston at 5 p.m. at Lake Myrtle Field in Auburndale.
