PITMAN, NJ --
Seth Clevenger,
David Brown,
Bright John, and
Gabriella Pagano were honored by the New Jersey Athletic Conference in its weekly awards for the week ending February 15th.
For the second week in a row, the #3 Prof Men's Track & Field team swept all three awards.
Clevenger earned the NJAC Men's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week for the third time in four weeks as the transfer was part of two school records over the weekend. First at the Boston University Valentine Invitational, he clocked a new school record and new Division III all-time record (13:32.09) in the 5000 meters. The following day the Tufts Cupid Challenge, he teamed with
Blaik Slavinski,
Matthew Niedbalski, and
Teddy Wilson, in the distance medley relay (9:53.19) for a new school mark and the new #1 Division III time this season.
Brown has been named the NJAC Men's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Week, his fourth time honored this season. The freshman, off a new program best in the high jump set last weekend, did it again this weekend and hit a new all-time #4 Division III mark (2.19 meters) at the Widener Indoor Classic to finish in first place.
John picked up the NJAC Men's Track & Field Rookie of the Week as the freshman turned in a season-best effort in the long jump (7.10 meters) at the Widener Indoor Classic. His mark moves him just outside the top 20 in Division III.
Gabriella Pagano was selected the NJAC Women's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this year as the senior turned in a school record in the 5000 meters (16:45.30) at the Valentine Invitational. The time is a new #6 result in Division III as well.
Both the men's and women's teams will be in action at the 2025-26 NJAC Championships this Saturday and Sunday at Penn's Ott Center.
