HAMPTON, VA --
Ella Pennington took first place in the 200 IM as Rowan competed in day 2 of the 2025-26 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships at the Hampton Aquaplex.
RESULTS THROUGH FRIDAY
The senior clocked in at 2:03.95 to give the Profs its first champion at of the four-day meet.
The Profs slipped to fifth place (302 points), behind fourth-place Kean (304) and third-place Montclair State (309). Salisbury remains in the lead with 591 points, well ahead of second-place Mary Washingon (328.5).
Kaitlyn Crouthamel swam a season-best time in the 500 meter finals (5:09.21) to finish seventh;
Lilyanna Martin was eighth with a new PR time of 5:09.67.
Pennington, Crouthamel, Martin, and
Lily Pushkar took second place in the 800 free relay (7:36.35) for an NCAA 'B' Cut time.
The 400 medley relay of Pennington, Crouthamel, Martin, and
Rhylee Cornell swam to a third-place finish (3:49.43) with another NCAA 'B' Cut mark.
The championship continues on Saturday with action starting at 9:30 a.m.
