GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan bested Montclair State, 196-66, in the home opener Friday evening from the Tony Lisa Natatorium. The meet also served as the team's PINK OUT where the team wore pink caps in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

FINAL RESULTS

The Profs (2-0) had multiple event winners and claimed both relays in the win. This was the first dual meet of the season for the Red Hawks (0-1).

Friday's rundown:

- Braden Sheehan was part of four first-place finishes, taking the top time in the 200 free (1:44.41), the 200 back (1:58.16)

- Gavin Danze was the top performer in the 1000 free (10:02.50) and the 500 free (4:57.86)

- Jim Mahoney claimed the 100 breast (58.24) and the 200 breast (2:11.20)

- Drew Westhoven was first in the 100 free (47.51) and the 200 IM (2:01.85)

- Mason Parkzes, who touched the wall first in the 100 back (52.92), joined Sheehan, Mahoney, and James Burns in winning the 200 medley relay (1:34.94)

- Sheehan, Parkzes, Burns, and Elias Krukar clocked in at 3:10.77 in the 400 free relay

Rowan returns to the pool on Saturday, October 31st as Salisbury visits Glassboro in an 11 a.m. start.
