STATEN ISLAND, NY -- #2 Rowan captured the METS Championship for the second time in program history Friday at Ocean Breeze while producing a school record in the process.
FINAL RESULTS
The Profs totaled 185 points to outrace second-place Monmouth (177 points). Fordham was third with 99 points and St. Peter's was fourth with 61.
Anthony Parker officially broke the school record in the long jump as his first-place result of 7.56 meters now moves him up to #2 in Division III. Last week's result at The Armory for the Dr. Sander Scorcher did not count towards a new program mark.
Notes from Friday's meet:
- For the second week in a row,
Paris Hamlin hit a PR in the weight throw as his 16.09 meter effort placed him second in the event
- The 4x400 relay of
Luke Halbruner,
Marquis Taylor,
Teddy Wilson, and
Dallas Hohney turned in a new #1 Division III time of 3:15.05
- The 4x200 relay clocked in with a new facility record of 1:25.88; The foursome of
Julian Conigliaro,
Joudou Diawara, Evan Corcoran, Elijah Hendricks nearly broke the previous school record of 1:25.45 set last season

Noah Wampole and
Isaiah Davenport improved their top marks in the high jump; Wampole cleared an indoor PR of 2.05 meters to take first; Davenport (2.05 meters) hit the same height to finish second

Dallas Hohney entered the top 15 in Division III with his first-place finish in the 400 meters (48.19);
Jason Agyemang was first in the 60 meter hurdle finals (8.11)
- Blaik Slavinski took first place in the 1000 meters (2:30.42) while Wilson did the same in the 500 meters (1:05.30)
The team will head back to Ocean Breeze on next Friday for the Fasttrack Invitational.
