EWING, NJ -- Rowan leads after day one of the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship as the Profs have amassed 87 points, 15.5 points ahead of host TCNJ in action concluding on Saturday.

UPDATED RESULTS

Sidney Whetstone highlighted Saturday's action, notching a pair of PR's in the 100 meters and long jump, while Nyla Jones jumped into the top 10 in Division III in the 400 meter hurdles.

Stockton (47 points) sits in third place, followed by Montclair State (9), NJCU (6), Rutgers-Newark (6), Kean (4.5), Rutgers-Camden (2), and Ramapo (no score) after the first day.

Saturday's Finals recap:
- The Profs went 1-2-3 in the 3000 steeplechase led by a first-place finish from Anna Sasse (11:32.70); Gabriella Pagano (11:32.89) was second and Emily Zanni (11:38.23) took third
- Sidney Whetstone captured the long jump with a top mark of 5.53 meters; Rhi'Onna Timmons was second (5.48 meters)
- Izzy Deal won the javelin 39.17 meters
- Shannon Stakelbeck claimed third place in the 10,000 meters with a PR time of 39:49.11

Saturday's Preliminaries tidbits:
- Molly Lodge will race in the 400 meter final on Sunday, after posting a 58.49 on Saturday
- Mya Walker (12.54) and Whetstone (12.60) both move on to the 100 meter finals
- Jones had the top time and new Division III #7 result in the 400 meter hurdle prelims (1:01.40)
- Lodge (25.00), Walker (25.98), and Jasmine Broadway (25.03) will all race in the 200 meter finals
- Sabrina Baer (1533 points), Gianna Norris (1113 points), and Sophia Longo (1009 points) through four events in the heptathlon, with the final three finishing up on Sunday
