EASTLAKE, OHIO - Rowan senior
Phil Sedalis has been named to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America Second Team, marking his second career distinction, after receiving the same honors in 2023. The Profs' centerfielder was recognized along with 16 players from the other seven teams at the Division III World Series' Opening Ceremony.
2025 ABCA/RAWLINGS ALL-AMERICA TEAM
Sedalis was recently named the 2025 ABCA Region 4 Position Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Region First Team for the third time, while receiving his second All-NJAC selection.
The co-captain is batting .376 and has made his mark on the Rowan record book this year, setting the single-season mark for runs (66), hits (77) and total bases (142). He has also totaled 72 RBI and 13 doubles, and with 17 home runs, he needs one to tie the school record. Sedalis hit three home runs in the Profs' NCAA Regional win over Catholic, which was one shy of the single-game record.
In just three years at Rowan, Sedalis has put up some of the top numbers in school history. He is the school's career leader in triples (16) and ranks second all-time in hits (229), runs (182) and total bases (394) behind teammate
Tyler Cannon, and ranks second in RBI (172).
Rowan (36-10) begins its quest for a national championship on Friday at 4:45 p.m. when it takes on second-seeded Denison in its first game of the Division III World Series at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake, Ohio.
