PITMAN, NJ - Rowan's
Damon Suriani was named the NJAC Baseball Rookie of the Year and was joined by six Profs on the 2025 NJAC All-Conference Team as the league announced its annual awards.
Tyler Cannon,
Karson Harcourt,
Marco Mannino and
Phil Sedalis were named to the First Team,
Zach Coluccio and Suriani were chosen to the Second Team and
Jason Morgan received Honorable Mention.
2025 NJAC ALL-CONFERENCE
Suriani becomes just the third Prof to earn the league's top rookie award, and the first in the 11 years under head coach
Mike Dickson. The freshman outfielder made an impact in 15 conference games, topping the team by hitting .571 with 17 runs, two doubles and two home runs. Suriani, also named to the All-Conference Second Team, has 17 RBI this season, which all came in conference games and posted a .688 slugging percentage.
Cannon, Rowan's all-time leader in hits, earns All-NJAC honors for the third time and is a repeat selection to the First Team. The graduate student, who moved to first base this year, hit .358 in league games, tied for the team high with 29 hits, scored a team-best 28 runs, and added three doubles and a home run.
Harcourt earns his first selection to the All-Conference Team after hitting .345 with a team-best seven doubles in NJAC games, while adding 18 runs and 10 RBI. The senior catcher is having his best offensive season as a starter, hitting .308 in all games, with 30 runs, eight doubles and 20 RBI.
Mannino, a senior shortstop, also receives All-Conference honors for the first time in his career. He ranked second on the team with his .406 average to go along with 19 runs and 21 RBI in league games. Overall, Mannino is batting a personal-best .385 with career-highs of 48 RBI, 35 runs, eight doubles and one home run.
Sedalis is a repeat selection to the All-NJAC First Team and batted .358 in conference games, with team-highs of 33 RBI and eight home runs. The senior centerfielder tied for the team lead in hits (29) and tops the squad with 59 total bases in NJAC games. Sedalis, who went over the 200-hit mark for his career, tops the Profs in runs (55), hits (59), home runs (12), RBI (55) and total bases (110) in all games.
Coluccio, a righthander, picks up All-Conference honors for the first time as he topped Rowan's staff with a 4-0 record, a 2.35 ERA and 29 strikeouts in league games. The senior limited NJAC opponents to hitting just .226 in 30.2 innings pitched. Overall, Coluccio is 7-0 with a team-leading 2.11 ERA among the starters, while he has accumulated a career-high 57 strikeouts.
Morgan earns his third consecutive selection to the All-Conference Team as he accounted for 18 runs and 23 RBI in NJAC games, while hitting four doubles and two home runs. The senior outfielder is batting .363 overall with a team-high 61 hits, 46 runs scored and a career-best 48 RBI. Morgan has six home runs on the year and recently surpassed the 200-hit mark for his career.
#13 Rowan (30-8) won its 12th consecutive game and advanced to the winners bracket in the NJAC Championship with a 16-4 win over Ramapo in the first round. The Profs will face TCNJ on Saturday at 7 p.m., with the remainder of the tournament being hosted by Montclair State.
