PITMAN, NJ --
Kwaku Nkrumah and
Nyla Jones picked up honors from the New Jersey Athletic Conference in its weekly awards for the week ending March 30th.
Nkrumah was selected the NJAC Men's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week while Jones earned the NJAC Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Week accolade.
At this past weekend's Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener, Nkrumah turned in the #2 Division III and top NJAC time in the 110 hurdles (14.17) while Jones clocked in a 14.93 in the 100 meters to notch the fastest time in the NJAC.
Both teams will head to Collegeville, Pennsylvania this weekend to compete in the Ursinus Track & Field Festival beginning on Friday.
