Gabriella Pagano,
Mariah Juiliano,
Sophia Weisler,

Mordecai Ford,
Angela Oliveto,
Ella Pennington,
Jessica Smart, and
Raven Albrecht with honors in its weekly awards program for the week ending October 19th.
Pagano was named the NJAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after her seventh place finish (21:43.0) in Rowan's Border Battle Championship race on Saturday. The senior was the top NJAC finisher in the 6k race.
Juiliano is the NJAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this year as she made 11 saves in the two wins. The senior goalkeeper made seven saves in the 4-3 shootout win over #21 TCNJ, including a key one in the first overtime, and then stopped four shots in the shootout. Juiliano followed that with four saves vs. Kean in the 5-2 win, as she now owns a save percentage of 73.8 on the year
Weisler picks up her second consecutive NJAC Field Hockey Rookie of the Week honor as she had two goals on the week. She scored Rowan's first goal as it trailed at #21 TCNJ, tying the game, 1-1 as the Profs went on to win, 4-3, in a shootout. She also tallied the team's fourth goal in the 5-2 win over Kean, giving her four goals in the last four games.
Casimir earned the NJAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week after going 4-for-4 on extra points, plus a 37-yard field goal, four kickoffs for 232 yards (58.0 yard average), and two punts that averaged 47 yards, including a 52-yarder that pinned William Paterson at its own 2-yard line in Saturday's 45-16 win over the Pioneers.
Teammate Ford claimed his second NJAC Football Offensive Rookie of the Week honor this season as the freshman had the longest play in program history in Saturday's win, running for a 94-yard TD in the fourth quarter. The freshman finished with 104 yards on three carries.
Oliveto picked up NJAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as the sophomore netted four goals in a 1-0-1 NJAC week. Oliveto scored two in a 5-0 win at Stockton on Wednesday, and another pair in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Montclair.
Pennington was selected the NJAC Women's Swimming Swimmer of the Week after notching a NCAA 'B' cut time and almost added a second in last Friday's win at Montclair State. The senior claimed mark in the 200 backstroke (2:02.72). Her 100 backstroke time of 56.80, which was a new facility record, was just 0.12 off the qualifying 'B' cut time. Pennington also swam in the winning 400 free relay (3:40.81) and 200 medley relay (1:50.95).
Smart took home the NJAC Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this year as the freshman hit .515 for the week, going 40-5-68 in three wins (nine sets). Smart totaled 15 kills (15-2-29) in Tuesday's sweep over Montclair and also put down 15 kills (15-3-27) on Saturday at Elizabethtown, helping extend the Prof win streak to 10 games.
Teammate Albrecht was named the NJAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week after dishing out 100 assists as the team hit .287 in those three wins. In Tuesday's sweep over Montclair, the freshman racked up 31 assists and four aces. In Saturday's win at Elizabethtown, Albrecht totaled 39 assists and 11 digs for her fifth double double on the season.
This week, football (4-1-1, 2-1 NJAC) will host #5 Salisbury in an important conference showdown on Saturday. #14 Field Hockey (12-3, 4-0 NJAC) plays at William Paterson on Saturday before a road trip to top-ranked Christopher Newport on Saturday. The #11-ranked women's soccer squad (11-1-1, 5-0-1 NJAC) has home games this week with Kean (Wednesday) and Ramapo (Saturday). Volleyball (18-4, 4-0 NJAC) travels to Kean on Tuesday before a home date with Rutgers-Camden on Thursday and a tri-match on Saturday at Misericordia.
Both the women's cross country and women's swimming teams are idle this week.
