NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Eight members of the Rowan Women's Outdoor Track & Field Team were named all region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Five of the eight student-athletes were honored in two or more events.
Molly Lodge (100 meters, 400 meter hurdles, 4x400 relay) and
Anna Sasse (800 meters, 1500 meters, 3000 meter steeplechase) scored regional honors in three events.
Izzy Deal (Shot, Javelin) and
Nevaeh Lorjuste (400 meters, 4x400 relay), and
Kat Pedersen (400 meters. 4x400 relay) earned two awards each respectively while
Mia Guerra (10,000 meters),
Jasmine Pope (4x400 relay), and
Grace Vit (Shot) were also honored.

Selections were based off of last week's AARTFC Championships as the two-day event was held at SUNY-Cortland, where the Profs finished third overall. The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.

Lodge, Pedersen, Pope, Lorjuste and Deal will head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships that kick off on Thursday, May 23rd from Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
