GREENSBORO, NC -- Rowan had two relay teams in the preliminaries on Thursday at the 2023 Division III Swimming and Diving Championships but failed to reach the finals in both events.

The 200 free relay of
Paul Riter,
Jack Watson,
Alex Volin, and
Tobias Cahnbley was 22nd in the prelims (1:23.60), needing a 16th place finish or better to advance to the finals later in the evening.
The 400 medley relay was disqualified for a false start.
Friday's action will see
Ella Pennington and Watson in the women's and men's 100 backstroke respectively, while the 800 free relay will compete all in the preliminary round.
