Men's Track & Field Finishes in a Tie for Fifth at NCAA Championships; School Record Set in 4x400 Relay

Profs add more All-Americans on final day of competition for a grand total of nine

GENEVA, OHIO -- Rowan concluded competition at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships by adding All-Americans in two events on the day.

FINAL RESULTS

The 4x400 relay team of John Owens, Nana Agyemang, Jah'mere Beasley, and Amara Conte finished second in the finals and earned All-American status as the foursome set a school record with a new best time of 3:10.08. The time shaves off 0.02 seconds from the previous record set in 1985.

Beasley was also in the finals of the 200 meters where he ran PR time of 20.91 to place sixth and score his second All-American honor of the three-day meet.

Ahmir Johnson was slated for the finals in the triple jump, but had to withdraw due to injury.

As a team, the Profs finish with 30 points to put the team in a tie for fifth along with Wartburg. Wisconsin-Eau Claire totaled 73 points to claim the national team title.
