GLASSBORO, NJ – Tenth-ranked Rowan will visit top-ranked Eastern Connecticut State in the NCAA Baseball Super Regional this coming weekend with a berth in the NCAA Division III World Series on the line. The teams will play a best-of-three series on Friday and Saturday, May 27-28, at the Eastern Baseball Stadium in Willimantic, CT.

Friday's game will start at noon, with Saturday's set for 11 a.m. If a third game is necessary, it will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.
 
The Profs (33-8) captured their second consecutive, and seventh overall regional title this past weekend as they won three games in the NCAA Baseball Annville (PA) Regional hosted by Lebanon Valley College. Top-seeded Rowan defeated Mitchell, 7-1, and then defeated #24 Washington & Jefferson, 14-7, and then 9-0 to capture the championship and advance to the Super Regional.
 
Eastern Connecticut State (42-3) advanced in a walk-off win over Middlebury, 5-4,  on Sunday to win the Rochester Regional. The Warriors also won three straight, opening with a 10-7 win over Swarthmore, and then defeated Middlebury, 17-4, before clinching the title with the dramatic win.
 
Last year, Rowan won the Marietta Regional to advance to the Division III World Series.
 
The 2022 NCAA Division III World Series will be held from June 3-8 in Cedar Rapids, IA.
