GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan sophomore guard Marcellus Ross was named to the NABC Division III All-District 4 Second Team as voted on by NABC coaches across NCAA Division III.
Additionally, Ross was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 4 Second Team.
The 6-4 guard made an impact in his first season with the Profs, leading the team in scoring with 18.2 points per game, while adding 5.6 rebounds. Ross, an All-NJAC First Team selection, also led the Profs in 3-point field goals made with 91.
He scored doubled figures in all but two games, while tallying 20-plus points 10 times. Ross ended the year tallying double figures in 24 consecutive games and hitting a new career-high with 34 points in the NCAA Tournament First Round.
Rowan finished the year 23-6, reaching the NJAC Finals and making its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the past three seasons played.
