GLASSBORO, NJ - The Rowan field hockey team's season opener against Ursinus has been postponed until Thursday, September 2 at 7 p.m., due to the weather forecast that has the remnants of Hurricane Ida affecting the area on Wednesday. The game was originally set for September 1. Additionally, the men's soccer team's season opener at Johns Hopkins has been canceled.
The field hockey team is ranked ninth in the nation in the 2021 Penn/Monto NHFCA Preseason Coaches Poll.
The #15 men's soccer team will open the year now on the weekend at the Drew Fall Festival playing New Paltz on Saturday at 4:00 and then playing in either the consolation or championship on Sunday at 4:00 or 6:30 p.m.
