NJAC All-Conference Team

PITMAN, NJ – Rowan's Nana Agyemang was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Thomas M. Gerrity Most Outstanding Athlete and Jah'mere Beasley was selected the Outstanding Track Athlete.  Dimit was honored as the conference's Bill Fritz Coach of the Year.
 
The Profs earned 24 individual and two relay All-Conference honors.  Julian Pratt (100 meters), Liam Davies (110 meter hurdles), Joe DeVito (400 meter hurdles), Ian Bain (discus), Agyemang (long jump), Beasley (200 meters) and the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays were members of the NJAC All-Conference first team. 
 
Julio Lebron (decathlon), Justin Bishop (200 and 400 meters), Kevin Lauer (1500 meters), Marquise Young (110 meter hurdles), Earnest Daniel (high jump), Ahmir Johnson (long jump and triple jump), Dan McAleavey (javelin) and Beasley (100 meters) earned All-Conference second team honors. 
 
Amara Conte (400 meters), Jake Kolodziej (800 meters), Brandon Diaz (1500 meters), Noah Cziryak (10000 meters), Kevin King (110 meter hurdles), John Owens (long jump), Lebron (javelin) and Daniel (high jump) received NJAC honorable mention.  The All-Conference team was determined by the NJAC Championships on May 9.
 
At the conference meet, Agyemang was the winner in the long jump with 23' 7.25" (7.19 m).  He ran on the first place 4x100 meter relay with Donovan Clement, Pratt and Beasley.  Agyemang also had a fourth place (11.04) in the 100 meter dash and was fifth (22.38) in the 200 meter dash. 
 
Beasley claimed the NJAC title in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.79.  He finished second (10.85) in the 100 meter dash.  Dimit has guided the men's track & field team to six straight outdoor championships.  This is Dimit's sixth consecutive NJAC honor from his peers. 
 
Pratt ran a winning time of 10.71 in the 100 meter dash.  Davies finished in 15.14 in the 110 meter hurdles for first place while DeVito took first (54.14) in the 400 meter hurdles.  Ian Bain claimed the conference title in the discus with a throw of 148' 3" (45.19 m).  The 4x400 meter relay of DeVito, Kolodziej, Vincent Delle and Hunter Barbieri finished first in 3:21.91. 
 
Lebron totaled 5038 points over 10 events in the decathlon for second place.  Bishop came in second in the 200 (22.05) and 400 (48.62) meter dashes.  Kevin Lauer had a second place (3:58.62) in the 1500 meters.  Young was second (15.18) in the 110 meter hurdles. 
 
Daniel had a height of 6' 6.75" (2.0 m) in the high jump and was second.  Johnson took second in the long jump (22' 10.75", 6.98 m) and triple jump (47' 4.25", 14.43 m).  Dan McAleavey finished second in the javelin with a toss of 193' 1" (58.85 m). 
 
Conte took third (49.26) in the 400 meters and Kolodziej was third (1:57.53) in the 800 meters.  Diaz had a third place (4:01.52) in the 1500 meters.  Noah Cziryak came in third (32:33.51) in the 10000 meters.  Kevin King finished the 110 meter hurdles in 15.32 for third place. 
 
Owens was third (22' 5", 6.83 m) in the long jump.  Daniel leaped 43' 10.75" (13.38 m) in the triple jump for third.  Lebron took third in the javelin with 191' 11" (58.51 m).
 
This year, Rowan won its sixth straight NJAC Championship and 19^th overall.
