GLASSBORO, NJ - Through the generosity and support of Prof Fans, Rowan Athletics was able to support The SHOP on campus from the proceeds of the sale of PROFSTRONG merchandise this past summer.
 
Athletics made a donation of $1220 to The SHOP, which is Rowan's on-campus food pantry and resource center to students in need. In addition to focusing on addressing issues of food insecurity, the SHOP offers a range of free and confidential support services to connect students with appropriate campus and community resources.

"We truly appreciate all donations that we receive through The SHOP. Monetary donations allow us the flexibility to purchase items for our shelves that our students really look for, but we don't always receive in our donation bins. Connections with outstanding partners and donors like Rowan Athletics make sure that The SHOP can continue to combat hunger and food insecurity on-campus," said Andrew Perrone, Ed.D., from Rowan's Office of Volunteerism, Community Engagement & Commuter Services.
 
Rowan Athletics equipment manager Bob Migeot was instrumental in setting up the ProfStrong online store and said, "I know there are many students who rely on The SHOP and I thought this was a great way for us to help out."
