Jeffrey Tucker were named U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region honorees.
To be named All-Region, a student-athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top three relay team.
In the Atlantic Region, Benjamin (so. Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.) earned the honor in the 60 meter hurdles and the high jump, Kohles (jr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River E.) in the shot put and Tucker (so. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) in the high jump and the long jump.
Benjamin hit his top time of 8.02 at the Fastrack Last Chance Meet (Feb. 27) and has qualified for the NCAA Championships. He won the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) title with a record mark of 8.17. Benjamin recorded a height on 8' 8.25" (2.04 meters) in the high jump at the Fastrack Last Chance Meet. Kohles threw the shot put a season best 50' 10.25" (15.50 meters) at the Ramapo College Season Opener (Jan. 15).
In the high jump, Tucker had a season-high mark of 6' 11" (2.11 meters) at the NJAC Championships. He won the NJAC and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships in the event. Tucker will compete at the NCAA Championships in the high jump. He recorded a leap of 23' 1.75" (7.05 meters) in the long jump at the ECAC Championships (Mar. 5) and finished second.
